Transformational Leadership
Are leaders born or made? How effective is an Entrepreneurial 101 Class? Can you teach someone to have a trait that you already organically should have?
I think Leaders have the possibility to be both. There are people in this world, that were born to lead. Others ascertain this authoritarian leadership role, while developing in my environments.
Leaders of today face different obstacles than our predecessors.

Currently Leaders are failing our global community. We’re all related and connected to each other – however many degrees away it may be. What goes on in one area, will eventually affects another. It’s just a matter of time before you see the proof in the pudding. Because we’re all connected. There are too many people in a position of authority that are yet again not qualified; have no idea about the industry their end; the roles of the staff they mngmnt, and their role in serving the team. Yet, they are put into a position over others lively-hood. Why is this allowed to continue to happen? It’s up to the rest of us to hold these Boards and Committees more accountable for their decisions & lack of taking better action.
Overall core of the problem is the disconnect of humanities. People are not machines. Senior management needs to re-adjust their focus off of “the #’s”
(↑ productivity). It’s important. But being cognitive of knowing that your biggest assets are the 3-dimential human-beings that you need to help produce the work. They need to feel that: they have a voice, be in peace at where they work, support from management on their concerns & feedback on how to make operations better.
Have you all ever all ever seen Undercover Boss. In launching my own venture & meeting with Senior Leadership on prospective contracts. I now have a better understanding up why when these Undercover bosses go out into the field “under-cover”. And have no idea of the aftermath of what is going on in the field, as result of a decision they made putting pen-to-paper. They’re disconnected from the people. They are focus is convoluted by stats.
Future Leaders – which co-exist with us now in the market need examples on how to do better. You guys are faced w/ many challenges.
Creating new opportunities to replace US jobs that have been displaced over-seas. Or manual labor jobs that have been replaced by technology.
Inheritance of outstanding debt – in the history of the American economy.
E- Commerce – cryptocurrency
But no worries. Us Gen X’ers are here to help you – IF YOU’RE WILLING TO LISTEN! It’s up to us Gen X’ers (that’s caring the torch from the Baby-Boomers) to get things in orders as much as possible for you. So when the responsibility is rested upon you, you’ll have somewhat of a fighting chance. Which exponentially helps us all – because we’re call connected. I see that you all will be faced with.
All these concerns are upon us now. It’s not tricking down the pipeline & something for us to have to address in the future. It’s 2020 & the future is here now! We are trying to resolve as much concerns as possible in these War Rooms. But what can be done ends up being “what it is”. And we have to try & make the most of it, until enough come forth to demand better. It’s the hippocracy of democracy (as Chris Rock diplomatically stated).
Knowing the problem is 80% of the solutions. The “pow” is in developing the rest of the solution.
I leave you with this → are Women Leaders in Healthcare different from Male Leaders? Would there be a different set of challenges based on gender. Or is addressing socioeconomic issue has no bias? Are seasoned individuals more qualified than excited new grads, because the seasoned professionals are burned out? The universal threat and remedy does not discriminate. Time doesn’t discriminate. We have to all work together for a better society (for the long-haul).
